Montessori…I too agree with Rickopolis that Alex, wise to Jeff, threw him a little disinformation in that “security breach” yesterday. And Rick makes a good straight man.

You know your strip has jumped the shark when Brewster Rockit has more satire in one panel than your entire strip has had since the elections last November.

In some comic strips, the characters may age for a few years and then stop (e.g.: “Blondie”). The timeline for “Doonesbury” has always been very variable; for Alex it has it seems it has sped up. Apparently in less than three years Alex has gone from high school to graduating MIT, working on a doctorate, working on high level projects, and now having a fast-track pregnancy. Talk about a child prodigy.

Actually, based on what I heard at the inauguration, she’s got a great voice. And before you say it, I read an article on Slate by a music engineer who laid out why he is positive that she did NOT lip-sync. Even if she did, she sang it originally.

I half-expected to see vertebrae come flying out of the back of her neck with that head-whip.
