    Popular vote:
    Romney 51%
    Obama 47%
    Electoral Votes:
    Romney 290
    Obama 248
If I’m right, please feel free to bask in my genius until Friday.
After Friday I will no longer post on Gocomics.
I need a year off from politics.
Also, Nate Silver will be out of a job on Wednesday.

I have never been so pessimistic about a presidential campaign since Richard Nixon ran ( both times ).
Between the blatant voter suppression, the super pac monies, the horrific storm, Sandy, the looming crises in Iran and ongoing one in Afghanistan, I dread the outcome should Romney actually get elected. I am no Liberal, nor a Democrat, but I fear what could happen will happen.
I pray that Silver is right and you are smoking the wrong hookah !

And if you’re wrong? What do we bask in then?

Because of the obvious, and well documented, voter suppression, and intimidation, NO republican who wins by less the 5% will be considered legitimate by half of all Americans…Filibuster City baby……

Even if I’m right, it won’t stop me from going to my polling place first thing in the morning and voting for Obama.
My city has been through a hurricane and there are people who have lost everything, but we are still going to try to make our voices count.
The hurricane reminded us why we elected Obama in the first place. What it means to have a government that understands and follows through on its responsibilities.

At least I’m smart enough to know that Rachel Maddow isn’t “in to me.”

We will have no way of knowing this, because they will never admit it, but based on past elections, I have found the ones who complain the loudest about our government, don’t vote !
I bet that is true amongst some of the more notorious commentators on this strip.
You have no right to gripe about the election if you didn’t exercise your right as a citizen and vote !

I voted Friday, but I’m in a (expletive) red state, so my vote doesn’t count. I’ve given up on the state. What next? Canada? Mexico?

    I do hope you’re wrong.
Everything I’ve heard is that Obama will beat Romney on Electoral Votes.
