Waiting list- that is actually a big achievement for a Harris.

This storyline’s far too American-politics-centric to hold my interest. I have not the faintest idea how applying to be a car elevator operator, whatever that is, has anything much to do with anything.

They are making a big deal over there that Romney is so rich he’s having a car elevator installed in his California house.

Exactly. It’s all about the USA: people, politics, programs, and policies. Who would a reader except to learn about things and actions American?

Is Zipper’s over estimating his qualifications? He should apply for the lowest level job.The magical mansions lobbyist.

And that Romney hired a lobbyist to “grease the wheels” of the local government to get the basement garage plans through the approval process. Yeah, not much of a big deal, but it does provide the punch line for a “You might be as rich as a Romney if…” joke.

Here’s what I don’t get: GT is a cartoonist from the United States. He’s published in primarily US papers. The site you are reading this comic on is a subsidiary of an American corporation owned by another American corporation (Uclick owned by Andrews McMeel Universal). In order to be reading and trolling this comic you actually had to click on a link that brought you here. Yet you bash this comic for being USA-centric? Why?

Here’s a thought: find some entertainment from your own country. Wherever you are from there is bound to be a strip that discusses your government’s politics and the foibles of your politicians. Then you won’t feel the need to visit this one!

The funny part is that the conservative Republicans who have been sneering at Romney are now rushing to defend him. And, yes, Virginia, the Democrats are no better, and there is nothing more pathetic than the little political hacks, Republican and Democratic, who think that “Well, your side does the same thing” is an adequate defense of their side’s bad behavior. That’s why politics is a degrading profession.

Yesterday Zipper was on the left, now he’s on the right. He’s practicing his flip-flopping.

lol! I can say this, as an American . . . most Americans are internationally illiterate. In general they know much more about dance competition TV shows and fast food specials . . . than, for instance, the status of US-China relations; where we get our oil from; or the constant diplomacy needed with Pakistan and Uzbekistan to keep our 90,000 troops in Afghanistan fed . . .
