   As far as I can remember, Roland’s always been married. Saw his wife (at least I’m presuming it was his wife) in one of his earliest appearances, back when he was preparing to go on another “mission”.

    I suspect it is Honey and not “honey”. Ms Honey Huan was Duke’s companion – maybe she knows Roland.

    …“he probably makes good money and he’s gone a lot.” LOL! I can’t imagine why he’d get paid well for his trashy reporting, but “he’s gone a lot” would definitely help his relationship. No wonder “honey” is upset that he’s home! BTW, nothing in Roland’s Doonesbury bio or on Wikipedia mentions a significant other.
