Of course, most people don’t quite get the concept that intelligence communities are so incestuous that Flagg would already have Jeff’s full dossier, which would have been handed to him by whatever crony set up the interview in the first place.
Trudeau just doesn’t understand that when the military and government keep files on people, those files DO get used. Maybe someone should explain SPN codes to him. :)

We need private security in Iraq, especially since we withdrew all our troops (50.000 advisers don’t count) Maybe we can get them from Afghanistan now that they’re getting thrown out.

Yeah, randgrithr, let’s take all the fun out of the comics by making the writer explain in great detail how he arrived at his conclusions. Loved the line you added “most people don’t quite get the concept “. Wish i could speak for the masses like that! Would SPNs add to the enjoyment of the strip? A good cartoonist (and satirist) will keep it simple, for us simple masses.

Hey, Look, At one time the number of “contract” employees in Iraq outnumbered the armed forces by over 10,000. It was the previous administration’s way of making up for the shortage of GIs. Plus it made a lucrative means of channeling our tax dollars to their cronies.
