Yeah, the comedians all miss the ready-made Bush punchlines, but 8 years of stupidity and malfeasance are no laughing matter.

Just remember, Joe Biden (just “Joe” to all his former constituents from his home state) is from “Dela-WHERE?” ;-)

    Here’s one:

In the link it is “There’s a lot of – I don’t know what the term is in Austrian – wheeling and dealing,”

and yes, we do have special Austrian terms for wheeling and dealing.

I think it was Jon Stewart who lamented this right after the presidential election: “We have had 16 yeas of wonderful material, and now…”

I’m sure the impending crash of empire will have its amusing moments.

child of divorce - self-corrector. My letters home from camp came back with the spelling & grammar errors circled in red. Now I do it to myself. No ebonics allowed our F.B.P.

with no clown/cheerleader/drydrunk, you get the unadulterated essence of our times.

they say if we all cut our hair and contribute it to the oil spill cleanup forces, we could absorb a great deal of it. Hairdressers in my nabe are collecting cuttings and sending it to the Gulf.

this btw is the Real Gulf war. the one between the life of planet earth and the enemy who is US.

Boy, Garry, you didn’t look very hard, did you?

Super Griz - the really funny thing is, the crash of the empire has begun in, of all places, Greece! Who woulda thunk it, eh?

…”not a laugh here”? You have to be kidding. The 57 states and the “corpseman” comments alone beat anything ever heard from Bush.

The Middle East is obviously an issue that has plagued the region for centuries.

UPS and FedEx are doing just fine, right? It’s the Post Office that’s always having problems.

The reforms we seek would bring greater competition, choice, savings and inefficiencies to our health care system.

I didn’t want to get into a Nancy Reagan thing about doing any seances.

How’s it going, Sunshine? –campaigning in Sunrise, Florida

On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes – and I see many of them in the audience here today – our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.

In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died – an entire town destroyed. –on a Kansas tornado that killed 12 people

As I said during the Bush 43 administration concerning Bush’s malapropisms: Even the most articulate speaker occasionally stumbles on a word or phrase. It’s simply a given in public speaking, and the more you speak the more examples there will be. It would be very strange(and very disturbing) to NOT be able to find any rhetorical slip-ups from Obama.

However, in Bush’s case the sheer volume of missteps from his speeches indicates he is not a man who has great suppleness of thought. As a critic once commented on the Bush clan: “These [in a corporation] are the guys you may want as your division heads, but not as the CEO.”
