If Gary’s reading this, Leo has been a great addition to the family. He is such a nice guy. Leo and Alex are perfect for each other.

He should have a full VA Disablity Pension.
Yes, and i’m sure that … eventually … he’ll get it.
Last i heard the wait here in the North Georgia area for disability determinations for servoce-connected disabilities was approaching three years.

And i’m fairly sure seh knows it, hence the line about being “high-maintenance”. As i recall, her mother wasn’t a lot older than she is now (if any) when she took up with Mike.
Nice to see (not necessarily referring to this specific strip) that Toggle is apparently getting a tad more mature (for want of a better word) than he was in the Sandbox. (Maybe “situation aware” is a better word; it was certainly not being situation-aware that played a big part in getting him into this shape…)

Alex could just leave if she wanted. She doesn’t have to be there either.
That’s what Leo/Toggle meant. .
You must not be very familar with the post-Bush VA.

What Leo meant was the she’s worrying over nothing and if he gives her a minute, she’s smart enough to figure it out. It was not some veiled comment that she could leave the trailer park, especially since that part was not said out loud.

“You must not be very familar with the post-Bush VA”. If you are going to try to insult someone at least base it on some fact. The president, last or current does not set policy for the VA. The congress has much more effect. Bush has been gone for a year it’s time for people to ask the current admin to take responsibility instead of trying to blame someone else. It’s cloudy in san antonio today, “well you must not be familar with the post Bush san antonio”.

That’s 50% disability, Toggle has one eye left and he has a job. Good for $800-$1200 a month according to the state he lives in.

Joe my point was and is that Bush himself had nothing to do with this policy. No more than Obama does that they still do this. This is set by administrators that have worked at the VA for years. The VA is much more affected by funding from congress than a president. During Vietnam they did the same. I am just sick of people blaming Bush for things he had nothing to do with.
