Sounds like a “feel-good” kind of song.
    I love the Beatles.

BTW, there was a recent news item on line. Seems that Dubya has become–can you believe it?–a MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER!
Biggest laugh I’ve had all week!

When George W. Bush was one of the speakers at the recent motivational seminar, he was only paid $10.00.

I think that these reruns of the strip are like the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. When the US Military thinks they have secured a large area, terrorists re-run their bombing tactics all over again.

Isn’t that “Gits-R-Done, and not “Gits’er done?” Dan “Larry-the-Cable-Guy” Whitney supposedly made “Git-R-Done” a famous expression.

I was amused and pleasantly surprised when he was celebrity contestant on Jeff Foxworthy’s “Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?” quiz show. Whitney didn’t use any of his filthy, obscene and hateful language on that show. He behaved himself just fine.

So the Beatles’ “The End” here and the Doors’ “The End” in Apocalypse Now is just a coincidence?
