   Two strange things: Leo can type in complete sentences! I thought no kids did that anymore! and, the kid knows beatletrivia?

   Leo, aka Toggle, is NOT a kid or a boy.

   Although he suffered a head trauma in the war, he can type easier than he can speak. Besides, he probably has a spell check program in his computer.

   He did not say he was going to open his own studio; he said he was thinking about it.

   Alex got carried away and exaggerated what he said.

   The blonde girl is her room mate at college.

   “OMG” stands for “oh, my god!” and the letters and the exclamatory phrase are rarely used by church goers.

   My father considered the phrase equal to swearing.

   People who also say “I swear to God” either don’t know or forgot that Jesus said not to swear by anything.

   Is that the only kind of studio? Studio apartment, maybe?

   A (sound) recording studio is implied from the first panel, and from previous episodes showing Toggle at the controls in a recording studio.

   In general usage, you would not say you were going to open a studio apartment, but you might open an artist’s studio or a recording studio. Open here is as in “open for business.”

   Drew, the blonde, is Alex’s smarter room-mate at MIT. Drew’s comment only refers to the fact that Alex tends to hyperbole. Comparing Toggle’s modest effort to Abbey Road is hyperbole, until shown otherwise.

   And now, having presumed to lecture on the english language, I shall vanish before the english majors sue for trepress….
