OKDK - I remarked on that when he first came out to watch the football team.
Still, it’s cool that he’s trying to put on full sentences, even if said sentences are article-free and lack a few quick verbs. And good for the L-T! Gotta’ love that he’s adapted so much to the situation. For the war or against the war (whichever one, take your pick), you at least gotta’ respect the vets and soldiers.
Maybe Toggle is more relaxed and happier when he’s with Alex? so he doesn’t spend so much energy working at speaking right, and therefore does it better?
G.B. Trudeau’s Doonesbury is currently in its thirty-ninth year, tracking its eighth presidential administration. Trudeau maintains his studio in New York and his Web presence at www.doonesbury.com.

God bless Garry Trudeau for this story line. I hope every war vet sees it and takes heart. And God bless our vets. Love ya all!

Wonder who’s learning more, B.D. or Toggle?

Toggle’s speech seems worse now than when he was hanging out with Alex.

The lesson that is scheduled is not the Real Lesson.
The student (Toggle) is wiser than the teacher (BD).

If you have war-zone related PTSD, you are “living with a difference.”
Both B.D. and Toggle have PTSD in addition to their other injuries.
Toggle speech patterns and speaking ability varies from time to time like real people who have suffered a brain concussion or a head trauma.
I speak from personal experience on the head traumas.
