Toggle was really paying attention… but then I don’t remember Toggle as part of the platoon before BD got hit.

And it isn’t as if BD’s been making a huge production about it. He probably limps around, but Toggle may well have chalked that up to a leg wound that didn’t heal all the way back.

Kinda reminds me of the story my parents told me. They would go to a bar, and bet that my Dad could touch the ceiling with his foot. After finding people willing to take the bet, he took his leg off, and held it up till it touched the ceiling.

Looking thru the knot hole in Father’s wooden leg…

Toggle might have thought that B.D. went to the Vet Center because he suffers from PTSD, too.

And since Toggle didn’t realize that B.D. had a leg prosthesis, B.D. probably doesn’t even walk with a limp.

A Vet Center is usually located in a different place that a VA Hospital or Outpatient Clinic. Here in Tulsa, there are 3 different places a Vet can go for services. The 3rd place is the “Behavioral Health Services” which was moved several miles away from the Outpatient clinic. To get services at Behavioral Health, one has to talk to a psychiatrist first and usually has to be referred to there by his primary care physician.

But, a Vet Center is a walk-in place.

I love the strip, but I’m a little uncomfortable with one point…if that player keeps getting concussions, he could get serious brain damage…

And since that’s what ‘BD’ stands for, he’s in good company!
