…this is the true being of the forth estate…everything wouldn’t be so bad if the news actually reported the coruptions in gov’t instead of fluff pieces…thanks for letting America down forth estate…you, too,Fox news…
You know Twittering is getting out of hand when, while watching the Weather Channel last night to find out today’s forcast, they have included Twittering with viewers to determine which part of the country’s forecast to cover in more depth.
I prefer my newsmen to reflect the absurdity of the times instead of acting like it doesn’t exist. Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert continue to keep me feeling sane in insane times. Then there’s Rachel Maddow. OK, so I think she’s hot. She’s also a bleeep fine news analyst. (ETA: Wow. Sensitive profanity filter much?)
As for Faux News, anyone who thinks a journalist is supposed to regurgitate Republican Party talking points instead of report the real news and analysis deserves to watch it.
G.B. Trudeau’s Doonesbury is currently in its thirty-ninth year, tracking its eighth presidential administration. Trudeau maintains his studio in New York and his Web presence at www.doonesbury.com.

Give me the good old days when we had all-news radio services to hear. Not anymore.
