   NoFearPup, can you even make a comment that makes sense? The ‘bong’ comment from yesterday and ‘crank it up, dog’ today. They both went to war. And came back wounded and maimed. You’re going to be embarrassed when you sober up. At least I hope you are not too far gone not to be embarrassed.

   Wow. I thought I was the only person alive who remembered Wonder Warthog by Gilbert Shelton! Back on topic, BD and Toggle shared the same horrible experiences, and have bonded over them. I when I got back in 1970, I immediately joined the campus veteran’s club. Lots of talk and alcohol made me normal again. I don’t drink any more, and I almost never tell war stories, either .

    OshkoshJohn, we gotta talk man! Seems we been on the same trajectory. I came back Dec.19th 69; helped form a Vet’s Club on campus, etc…. uhm as far as the drinking anddd uh other stuff, lets just say it was SOP. you can call me RiceLakeJon…. look it up.

    cacolley - Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, looks like you have an ‘admirer’. Nofur reminds me of a kid I knew in school who followed my crowd around and insulted us all the time, then asked why we didn’t like him.

    txmystic, he had a couple of posts. the first one after The Warthog, saying ‘Socialist comrade-in-arms’. Another one after Jerk Store, (sarcastically asking for an asinine remark, as if Nofur needed encouragement) said that Doonesbury hadn’t changed in 30 years and some other stuff. The wording made no sense as if he were drunk or stoned or both. And after the ‘bong’ comments of yesterday, much is explained. He’s a troll.

    I can imagine what our troops in previous and current wars went through. It would be hardly to deal with that. Try to heal better in time. Give them unconditional loves and supports! :-)
