Is there a mass-sedative available for Liberalism? It may be the only thing that will save us.

NFP, change your name to Terrified Puppy if you’re that afraid of progress. Apparently, you can’t run with the big dogs (check the picture to your left), so stay on the porch.

Nuclear power anyone? I think that would be better then worrying about the .038% that is CO2. Time to bring Nuclear power and drill here and drill now back to the table!
Cap and Trade will only Tax and burden!

Nuclear power may or may not be a viable option. Especially in the U.S. and Canada. Canada’s nuclear program is running into funding difficulties. This doesn’t just affect power generation but also medicine. A large portion, one fifth I think, of medical isotopes come from Canadian reactors and there currently is a shortage.
In the U.S., the Obama administration appears to be quietly deep sixing the Yucca mountain project. At the moment most waste is stored at the operating plants. For a variety of reasons ranging from antinuke extremists, environmental activists(some extreme some not) to general NIMBYs, the project has been deluged with legal challenges. I personally wouldn’t be willing to support more nuclear plants without a new storage facilty. From what I’ve read, Yucca would be a good option. I don’t say best, because there is no perfect storage option. However it isn’t looking good.

Cap and Trade worked great at reducing Sulfur Dioxide emissions…so why not on CO2 emissions as well?
