Not one of the men who created, debated, and implemented our Constitution would be able to comprehend how we allowed ourselves to become so debased and weak that we would allow Government to “bail out” either banks, or ANY private business.
I don’t even want to think about this crap. It’s so obvious America is in its final days; it is doomed to a complete and total fiscal collapse, followed by mass-rioting and probably a Napolean- or Hitler-like figure to arise, forever putting an end to any illusions we are a Republic, or that the Constitution is anything but a memory…

I’m always amazed by scott’s posts. I mean, I like to think that I’m a pessimist., but wow. He puts me to shame. Well done, scott. Way to keep up that faith in America.

why is he wearing a skirt? at first i thought it was a lady that didn’t shave her legs, haha. Then i thought wow, CIT really stopped trying - at everything.

Why does that woman have such hairy legs? And where are her awkward boobs?

I think the cartoon depicts a typical feminized western male, myself.
Not like the masses of Godless bean-counters and selfish cut-throats who work in the financial industry are macho weight-lifters. They’re mostly pasty-faced, pencil-necked geeks with bluescreened cheeks and Windows icons tattooed to the insides of their retinas…

scotty, does a man have to shovel manure all day to be masculine according to your standards?
You say the founding fathers were great men (they were), but they had freaking wigs!!!

And wore stockings!

I’d guess she’s tried to draw a male banker in Bermudas getting ready to take off for the Caribbean vacation after collecting the bonus. Hence the lack of boobs and presence of leg hair.

I second that point.
If the policy is that these companies are too big to fail, which I disagree with, then there’s no consistency here.
CIT’s main business is giving loans to small businesses, most notably those temporary shops that open in Malls during X-Mas. Without CIT to float loans for inventory, there’s gonna be lots of empty storefronts this season, and that can’t be good for any recovery.
The media barely covered this, just as they missed the 100 mark on bank failures since the inauguration and stimulus boondogle. If Bush were still President, they would have had a tote board to mark the occasion. It’s not that the public is complacent, it’s that they’re not being informed by a complicit, Democrat policy loving media.
