    TMZ is an entertainmnent celebrity gossip website. They’ve broken a number of big “entertainment news” stories. I’m not sure why Donna Barstow would expect them to be all over a politician’s affair - he’s not a movie star, pop singer or even a reality show star. TMZ stands for “Thirty Mile Zone,” as in the thirty mile radius around Los Angeles. They do stray from this area from time to time, but why would they be the ones expected to cover an east-coast politician’s jaunt to South America?

    Once again, I honestly can’t tell what point she’s trying to make. I assume she’s making fun of Republican apologists, but the speaker on the TV is too bland to be a caricature.
