   Actually, you and Barstow are both wrong. The purpose of ‘Stimulus’ is to get people spending money. One part of the package gives most people a tax cut. If Barstow earns less than $95000 a year she WILL get something from the stimulus package.

   Mach, you have a problem with a $400 tax cut for individuals, $800 for couples because why?

   How do you want to pay down the national debt that grew to $11 trillion under Bush?

   $400/52=7.69 a week, you can’t hardly even buy a pack of cigarettes for that much, a drink costs $9.00 plus tips, half hour downtown parking is $8.00 or more and so on…….

   they included this so called tax cut only so that brainwashed Obamabots could claim during the campaign (and now) that he is a different kind of Leftist tax and spend Liberal

    $800/52 ≈ $15

    What can you do with $15? Not much.

    Reminds me of me when I was four and my much older sister had a one year old daughter. I was jealous because she got to sleep in a cradle, wear diapers and have a pacifier.

    Don’t be jealous of the ones who need more help. Those tax cuts were there to help behaviors that benefit society as a whole.

    Don’t be jealous, folks, when I tell you that I bring home $3.10 more per week since the stimulus package went into effect. Now I just smile when I buy that extra box of cereal and think, this one’s on Uncle Sam… or is that on me? : )
