   Political party, too. When the news that Governor Goldschmidt had raped a 14 year old girl when he was mayor of portland broke, the Oregonian newspaper called it an “affair”.
   .
   The outrage convinced them to change their words on that, but it was clear that they had no concern about the child. They were concerned with protecting a politico of their party.

   Mayor Sam Adams did it, but with a 17 year old boy. Our crooked state attorney didn’t so much as file a charge.
