    Specific tribute?
    Or did someone just pick up a signed copy of the Complete Treasury?

    I think that one may be taken, guys. Great choice though. (Oh how I miss C&H)

    I really like the positioning of Nameless Tiger in the final panel. Cold, calculating, predatory, weighing up the caloric content of its potential victims before pouncing.

    Even though Doug is a “real” baby (he is a comic strip character), I’ve always thought of him more as Sophie’s “imaginary friend” in this strip

    Sophie is the one with the wild imagination here that drives most of their adventures, poor little Doug is usually just along for the (wild) ride

    Oh no! Hobbes has gone missing….he’s been kidnapped!
    Poor Calvin must be frantic!
    Lovely snooze pile, Brian. Inspired.

    @Three Steps Over Japan

    I prefer to think of the Nameless Tiger’s look as watching out for the two sleeping tykes.

    From Wikipedia: On February 26, 2014, Bill Watterson published his first cartoon since the end of Calvin and Hobbes, a poster for the upcoming documentary Stripped by Dave Kellett.
