    Forget it and just pick her up…I mean, she is the head of the household…

    Tie her leash to a tree and start walking away. The threat of abandonment will give her loads of new energy!

    I carry small treats i my pocket. If not good, no treat. Buck’s sense of smell is so strong he only pulls on his leash to get home.

    At least with Sophie, carrying her is an option

    Our St Bernard is small for her breed and I doubt I could carry her more than a block

    This looks like my cat when I put a harness on her. Instant boneless kitty. Sophie’s such a cute pup. I’d love to have one like her at home.

    My Labs favorite place to lie down on walks was in mud puddles.

    @catlady1

    Our Half-Time does the “flop and drop” when we find him going where he shouldn’t. Half-Time’s a cat. Clever Claws.

    I have seen a St Bernard puppy. Ball of fur. And too big to carry.

    Nice cool grass… problem with walkies is the walk home!
