Babies and puppies are both quite cute, but underneath the soft, cuddly exteriors lie the fearsome hearts of competitors. Well, not really. When a new baby joins the household, Sophie the dog is initially irritated, but eventually comes to see the baby, Doug, as the asset he is: a better way to get snacks. Though the baby is still hogging precious attention, and has a tendency to pull ears and be a general nuisance, a begrudging friendship forms between the two rivals. Watch the mischief unfold in Brian Anderson’s Dog Eat Doug.

Just wait for the Doctor Who marathon.

For kitties with a great vocabulary, they take some things very literally. Cute.

Are we going to suffer through years of this kind of diction from the cats? Can’t they speak simpler. It’s generating the kind of long speeches that just “stuff” some comics. Be simple.

Yes, a real actor would have been nice.

But, I think if I continue to read this strip (which I will), my vocabulary will improve exponentially.

wrong Rock.
Rene was my rooom-mate at Ferris College and Rock was her bus-driving boyfriend.
The RA at dinner was the one that was telling everbody i was SAM-E. =

The cats’ speech reminds me of the Looney Tunes gophers. Very erudite. I love it.

Oh, indubitably, my dear StelBel. I concur that perusing this erstwhile and esteemed work of comedic art will increase our vocabulary and quite possibly our diction, should we endeavor to read it out loud.
In fact, my enjoyment of the script increases when I read this with a plum accent.
:-D

I am wrestling for a comment but I am down for the count…

I keep trying to view them as ‘cats’ but all I see are two bug-eyed chinchillas…

The Strip shouldn’t stray too far from its name.

Agreed. If the kittens believe this movie then they will certainly react the same for a Dr Who marathon.
.
Daleks, Cybermen, Weeping Angels and those scarey Snowmen. That should be enough to keep anyone under the bed for a few weeks.
