Babies and puppies are both quite cute, but underneath the soft, cuddly exteriors lie the fearsome hearts of competitors. Well, not really. When a new baby joins the household, Sophie the dog is initially irritated, but eventually comes to see the baby, Doug, as the asset he is: a better way to get snacks. Though the baby is still hogging precious attention, and has a tendency to pull ears and be a general nuisance, a begrudging friendship forms between the two rivals. Just find a little flash light and figure out how to tape it to a fan…then they wont bother you anymore, they will be too busy trying to catch that spot….

If this is how these cats are going to be portrayed, I foresee a very long year of the kind of situations from “Lady and the Tramp” … “We are Siamese if you please …” Poor Sophie.

I’ve ran the pointer up the wall and across the ceiling and my cat ran across the room looking up at it and ran straight into the ottoman. My cat is not graceful at all.

I don’t think this will continue in this vein. Suspect that one is going to start playing with Sophie and the other will be Queen Victoria (we are not amused) until she decides to join in. This will be done by carefully making sure she is unobserved, then a quick attack followed by a strategic retreat.
