Babies and puppies are both quite cute, but underneath the soft, cuddly exteriors lie the fearsome hearts of competitors. Well, not really. When a new baby joins the household, Sophie the dog is initially irritated, but eventually comes to see the baby, Doug, as the asset he is: a better way to get snacks. Though the baby is still hogging precious attention, and has a tendency to pull ears and be a general nuisance, a begrudging friendship forms between the two rivals. Watch the mischief unfold in Brian Anderson’s Dog Eat Doug.

Love this c-strip, looking forword to the new characters. Still wish the plain dealer would carry your strip.

I do hope the kittens aren’t “evil”. I really am tired of the way most cartoonists portray cats. As much as I love Sophie, I’d rather her be a big sister to two little ones and teaching them how to mooch their way through life rather than having an antagonistic realtionship with them.

It will be really interesting to see how he incorporates 2 cats or kittens into this strip. I can hardly wait!

We only have 2 cat carriers for the 5 cats, never have had to move more than to at a time
Don’t have a carrier for the St Bernard, it would take my wife and I both to carry it

2 Siamese cats. Like in Lady and the Tramp, if you don’t please……

@Doctor Toon
Your St Bernard probably helps carry the cats.
.
I have been told if you start them early, cats will put up with walkies on a leash. And I have seen this. A big black cat wearing his spiked collar out for walkies. He ignored the leash and the person at the end of the leash. (the cat was about 20 feet out in front)

I think you both should get in and let the St. Bernard carry you! And stock him with GOOD brandy LOL

I always used the cat carrier for the ferret. The can had free run in the car & was usually snoozing in the rear window.
