Babies and puppies are both quite cute, but underneath the soft, cuddly exteriors lie the fearsome hearts of competitors. Well, not really. When a new baby joins the household, Sophie the dog is initially irritated, but eventually comes to see the baby, Doug, as the asset he is: a better way to get snacks. Though the baby is still hogging precious attention, and has a tendency to pull ears and be a general nuisance, a begrudging friendship forms between the two rivals. Watch the mischief unfold in Brian Anderson’s Dog Eat Doug.

if it ws a real Scottish Holidy it would be Football Violence and deep- fried pizza or if you run in my circles Elephant Polo. Look up Torquhil Ian Campbell or The Duke of Argyll to you

I’d rather not. Hate soccer and pizza. Not into Dr. Who either.

Not into Dr. Who? Say it isn’t so! Probably don’t understand British humour, either. Well it’s “all free and it’s too good for you folks!” (Neddie)

I’ll have to keep an eye (ear?) out for the Discovery Channel special – “Songs of Loch Ness” – though they probably will be mistaken for mer-people.

Love Red Dwarf, hate Who. Love Are You Being Served, hate Mr. Bean. Love The Avengers, Fawlty Towers, Keeping Up Appearances and most British comedies that I’ve seen. I haven’t seen a Hitchcock film I didn’t like either.

And of course, as John Cleese cheerfully admitted, the Pythons cut their teeth on The Goons radio series….long may they be remembered!
