Babies and puppies are both quite cute, but underneath the soft, cuddly exteriors lie the fearsome hearts of competitors. Well, not really. When a new baby joins the household, Sophie the dog is initially irritated, but eventually comes to see the baby, Doug, as the asset he is: a better way to get snacks. Though the baby is still hogging precious attention, and has a tendency to pull ears and be a general nuisance, a begrudging friendship forms between the two rivals. Watch the mischief unfold in Brian Anderson’s Dog Eat Doug.

It’s a good thing Carla’s not running around my neck of the woods. I don’t think any, myself included, would save her bacon.

One of my former neighbors once had a pet pig in her apartment. I don’t think she knew how big they get.
There was an awkward incident before I knew about the piglet. She was house training it, and I thought it was the neighbor screaming. My friend and I burst in with guns drawn to rescue her. The neighbor and the pig were both traumatized, and I, of course, volunteered to pay for the door.

That is really funny! Down in Cuba (where my X is from), he bought a young pig once and chased it around the yard with friends before the slaughter and preparing it for a feast. Back in the US we bought them already dress and we built a brick oven for roasting in the back yard- the neighbors loved our feasts.

In the next town over, one of the auto body shops kept a pig (actually a sow) in their car storage lot. If you entered the lot she would appear from behind the dumpster, usually placing herself between you and the gate. She was formidable. After acquiring her, Fred never had any break-ins. What suburban thief wants to contend with a creature the size of a Smartcar?
