Babies and puppies are both quite cute, but underneath the soft, cuddly exteriors lie the fearsome hearts of competitors. Well, not really. When a new baby joins the household, Sophie the dog is initially irritated, but eventually comes to see the baby, Doug, as the asset he is: a better way to get snacks. Though the baby is still hogging precious attention, and has a tendency to pull ears and be a general nuisance, a begrudging friendship forms between the two rivals. Watch the mischief unfold in Brian Anderson’s Dog Eat Doug.

I am so confused! What? That seems so random. Anyone cares to explain.

Purple – I think the general concept is that you miss out on a lot of nature if you always wear ear phones & listen to music. Having nature miss nature would be the ultimate of that. And then there is the cute music selection the snail makes.

A snail with an iPod. Of course! Why didn’t I see that right away? (sarc.)

@Purple Morpho 2015
You are correct. It is indeed a tad random. This is one of those strips that I “see” and then have to write. I just drew Sophie running about saying howdy to different creatures. Then I just waited until I saw something funny for the last panel.
