    I know there is some debate on whether or not to color the daily comics, but this one is visually stunning with the color.

    Yep, it’s really scary that Doug, who cannot even walk yet, is along with a puppy outside in the dark and wearing a pillow-sized ghost costume.

    But, since Doug’s parents didn’t supervise him when they were on the farm, it is logical that they let him crawl outside to go do something he has never done before.

    Sophie is a know-it-all puppy and isn’t even a year old either. But, of course, this is a comic strip and not real life.

    This is gets my vote as the best Halloween comic of this year. Beautifully drawn and colored, and it gave me a smile. Very well done.

    Joe Allen Doty, obviously Doug and Sophie’s parents were influenced by It’s the Great Pumpking Charlie Brown, where a child stays out all night in a pumpkin patch, and no one but his elementary aged sister notices and brings him back home.
