Babies and puppies are both quite cute, but underneath the soft, cuddly exteriors lie the fearsome hearts of competitors. Well, not really. When a new baby joins the household, Sophie the dog is initially irritated, but eventually comes to see the baby, Doug, as the asset he is: a better way to get snacks. Though the baby is still hogging precious attention, and has a tendency to pull ears and be a general nuisance, a begrudging friendship forms between the two rivals. Watch the mischief unfold in Brian Anderson’s Dog Eat Doug.

I am king of my castle, but I have to bow to my queen. (Her nickname is LG, for Little General)

cleo - I am king of my castle, too.
It’s a small castle, where I live alone.
Now the cats do seem to think they’re in charge.
Of course, when my Lady comes over then She’s in charge.
OK, maybe I’m not king of much, but I’m king.

Doug is going to need a serious bath after crawling around in all that.

Quite a few years ago at the Tulsa State Fair, there was an entertainment event with trained goats and baled hay stacked up high. The goats would climb to the top of it.
Don’t ask me why “State” is part of the event’s name. Tulsa is the County Seat of Tulsa County and the fair is held on the Tulsa County Fairgrounds which is mid-town Tulsa.
The Tulsa County Fair is held in August and it gets very little publicity.
A better name for the fair that begins on the last Friday of October and goes for 10 days would be “Tulsa Interstate Fair.”

Yesterday, Sophie and Doug were inside of the pen with the chickens and today that are outside of the fence where the chikens and the goat are.

You did right by using a small letter “k” for your
kingdom. Or was that king-dumb?
