Babies and puppies are both quite cute, but underneath the soft, cuddly exteriors lie the fearsome hearts of competitors. Well, not really. When a new baby joins the household, Sophie the dog is initially irritated, but eventually comes to see the baby, Doug, as the asset he is: a better way to get snacks. Though the baby is still hogging precious attention, and has a tendency to pull ears and be a general nuisance, a begrudging friendship forms between the two rivals. Watch the mischief unfold in Brian Anderson’s Dog Eat Doug.

If he was up all night, shouldn’t he be sleeping?

I often wonder when pets, particularly cats sleep. When I used to stay over at a friend’s place with a cat, I used to wake up in the middle of the night and see those green eyes staring at me. Yet I never saw him sleeping during the day

You should know my cats. They sleep pretty much all the time but wouldn’t you know they like to get antsy at MY bedtime.

And they used to have to walk six mile to school in the driving snow… up hill….. both ways!

My Kitty cat sleeps 18 hours, then wakes me up at 5 AM to ask for his breakfast.

My in-laws’ cats ran up the furniture and jumped on our hide-a-bed when we visited. They also used to climb the curtains at night. One even bounced off a wall. Made sleeping rather difficult.
