Babies and puppies are both quite cute, but underneath the soft, cuddly exteriors lie the fearsome hearts of competitors. Well, not really. When a new baby joins the household, Sophie the dog is initially irritated, but eventually comes to see the baby, Doug, as the asset he is: a better way to get snacks. Though the baby is still hogging precious attention, and has a tendency to pull ears and be a general nuisance, a begrudging friendship forms between the two rivals. Watch the mischief unfold in Brian Anderson’s Dog Eat Doug.

Yes, the joy of finding all kinds of stuff in the cart that you never bought but a baby did!

I’ve seen the store I work at after ’Doug’ has been through.
Not a pretty site.

Today while I was trying to keep my 1 year old granddaughter from knocking over her sister’s lemonade with her foot, she grabbed my glass with her hand and drenched herself and the whole table. She is the biggest little octopus around.

What’s the average age that a baby actually is big enough for the carts?

We did this only Once, as Mom spanked us in the store when we would grab at stuff. Oh,she put it back, and the next time, we were confined to the Car. Wow! Today she would go to jail for this action. Times have chaned in the last 50 years

Lisa - mine were both in carts around 7-8 months, and they were both little octopi from that time on! I’ve had to return to stores after I left to sheepishly hand stuff back to the clerk and apologize for my tiny kleptomaniacs.
