Babies and puppies are both quite cute, but underneath the soft, cuddly exteriors lie the fearsome hearts of competitors. Well, not really. When a new baby joins the household, Sophie the dog is initially irritated, but eventually comes to see the baby, Doug, as the asset he is: a better way to get snacks. Though the baby is still hogging precious attention, and has a tendency to pull ears and be a general nuisance, a begrudging friendship forms between the two rivals. Watch the mischief unfold in Brian Anderson’s Dog Eat Doug.

Ha Ha very funny Sophie, but somehow I don’t think that Doug will buy into what you just said.

Doug looks rather ticked, Sophie…

I hate Next Gen because Picard is a total wus!

Well I’d have to agree with you there.

Awww…don’t be so down on Picard. I’m an all-accepting Trekker ;-)
Sophie, while Doug may be upset, you’re right ;-)

Gee thanks….I think.

Ouch - that hurts. I’d rather be second banana than the cue-ball Captain. How’d it get to be Sophie’s choice?

I love this but no way was Captain Picard a wuss. I loved him. He was very sexy and I loved his voice.

Picard was a much better actor than Kirk, but I prefer Janeway

We love both Kirk and Picard. And watch the comments about hair-challenged individuals. We take umbrage at that, being in the club ourselves.

Brian, my lab Cleo passed away last night so I will be living vicariously through Sophie’s adventures. Thanks so much for a venue to enjoy your vision.

I love that it’s Sophie with the wild imagination. Doug is just along for the ride on this stuff.

And Sophie can be a Wookie when they move on to Star Wars.

Cleokaya: So very sorry to hear of your loss of a beloved family member. I know it will be hard for awhile.
Brian, Sophie is perfect for Star Trek but who are the enemies ? The squirrels?

rdh288,
I’ll take Mullgrew too, but in a choice between Stewart & the Shat, I’ll take the Shat hands down - even if Stewart is the better actor. It’s like choosing between Sean Connery and Roger Moore or whoever is doing Bond now. Hands down, it’s Connery.

Patrick Stewart is a great actor. William Shatner is a hack… Just my opinion…

Cleokaya - I’m so sorry for your loss. Its’ very hard saying good bye to one’s beloved dog.
Macushlalondra - thanks! I was beginning to fear I was alone in my good opinion of Captain Picard. However, for voices, you can’t beat Captain Sisko of Deep Space Nine. He could read the telephone book and sound sexy!

If Kirk had been played by a better actor, he wouldn’t have been nearly as interesting and enduring. Shatner was perfect for the role. And personally, I’d want Kirk by myside in a tight spot rather than Picard any day. When the fate of the universe boils down (as it always does) to a fistfight with an alien on the planet’s surface, Kirk’s your man!

Thing is if his parents don’t nip this sort of behavior in the bud now, they’re going to end with Calvin and Hobbes in two, three years.
