Babies and puppies are both quite cute, but underneath the soft, cuddly exteriors lie the fearsome hearts of competitors. Well, not really. When a new baby joins the household, Sophie the dog is initially irritated, but eventually comes to see the baby, Doug, as the asset he is: a better way to get snacks. Though the baby is still hogging precious attention, and has a tendency to pull ears and be a general nuisance, a begrudging friendship forms between the two rivals. Watch the mischief unfold in Brian Anderson’s Dog Eat Doug.

Don’t blame Sophie. The button was already missing from the sweater when she found it.

The buttons will probably pass through Sophie, but I think I would rather buy new buttons than try to retrieve them after.

Wonder why she wants to eat them. They have no flavour.

Macushlalondra, I’m guessing you’ve never owned a dog. They eat anything for no reason at all

dogs eat anything and everything. my teachers dog for example ate his cast off his paw, then the band aid, then the sock with red pepper on it and licked his paw raw, so now he has a big cone on his head till his paw heals. poor duckman. 2 of my 4 dogs ate a shower curtain, shampoo, soap, all kinds of things. they all threw it up though.

My dog as a pup ate underwear, chocolate coins, a chocolate orange, a disposable razor, and a frog.
