There was a woman who grew up in the South, whose mother was Thai. The little girl was asked the same question as in the cartoon quite frequently.

A local woman won an auction to be in Dixie Drive. As soon as I heard who it was, this idea popped right into my head!

Amazing. That that phrase was used on Duck Dynasty last night.

Agreed! He brings new meaning to the phrase “South Korean”. (Let the groaning begin!)

Nice artwork Rich. I think half of the enjoyment is seeing the different styles of artwork in these cartoons.

Thanks. I’m always working on so many different projects that I just “wing it” and have fun when doing the panel. I’m glad the variety is a plus and not a minus!

That’s the nicest thing I’ve heard all week. I was a big fan of Don’s growing up. Unfortunately, he’d already passed away by the time I started working with MAD. I wish I could have met him.
