Big bones and facial hair are the least of Patty’s worries . . .

I think she saved from their stupidity.

Why does she even invite them to dinner?

She probably eats right and exercises so she doesn’t get the "big bones’ from her mom.

facial hair? I think everyone gets that anyway, just some more than others. If Joy didn’t shave hers it wouldn’t be as bad. At least that’s what I was told..

Poor Patty ,looking like her mother?? How sad is that

Yet another reason for Patty to run screaming into the night.

Of course, if she hangs around their house a lot, and enjoys their Stouffers and Sara Lee and Twinkies…
    generic colas, and potato chips….
believes that her mother’s secret “recipe” … fruit cocktail and mayonnaise … actually makes fruit salad….

she’ll eventually “inherit” those big bones all right.

And we have an actual Find-It you can find!

LOL we were sorta typing the same thing at the same time.

    And B.A.Bay… from yesterday….
    from fingernails to survival knives…
your weapons have grown more fierce.

Patty is the one almost normal character in the strip, right?

I think the best Patty can hope for is to not inherit their B.O. and social skill set.

Oh, look. They brought a gift of wine to dinner. Oh…. It’s in a box. And the box is open….. And it’s half empty,… And they left the bargain bin price sticker on it…. And what’s that small print?… Oh. PRODUCT OF CHINA.

Great dinner table conversation, they are such gracious guests. It appears Patty did not inherit the to do board, lost key rack or wall phone either. Also, it appears to be a regular home made dinner, where did she learn to cook? Hmmmmm, John isn’t here, did they part ways or is she just tactful to not have him over with family anymore as there is always an insult from Burl?

Hopefully, Patty and Timmy will spend enough time away from them to do better on all fronts. My parents were nice people, but Mom never learned to cook. They survived thru most of their retirement eating breakfasts and dinners provided in their retirement community and kept little more than crackers, PB & J, olives etc. in the kitchen of their condo. They also did not believe in supplements (as I always have).

I think Patty may have learned to cook as I did (in self defense). My mother was the youngest of 3 girls and grandma taught me some baking when I stayed with them. I started experimenting with cooking as I was a tween and used to bake bread and pies on weekends (took extras to the rectory which was just down the street) and when I reached 7th grade my parents agreed to buy groceries per my lists and I made all the dinners. Mom had a stroke long before she was my current age and lost use of right arm and leg. Dad was more stressed as major care-giver and by the time he was diagnosed w/ stomach cancer it could not be operated (partly because he was too thin)- he took pride in staying thin, but not eating healthy. They both lived into late 80s but were very sickly at the end. I plan to do it better. That is why I may not have the facelift if they insist on my taking BP medication. I am determined to remain clean and drug free as nearly as I can (taking major doses of any of those poisons for a full month is NOT acceptable).

I still say Patty is not biologically a Penny. Adoption or hospital mix-up is the only answer!

Let’s hope she doesn’t inherit Joy’s fat A$$ as well!

OK, Susan and Dazz, avert your eyes. I’m going to use the “f” word. Not the upper case one, the lower case one.
