I’m sure glad Burl and Joy have each other to talk to.

They’re happy cos they understand each other…
and we’re happy cos we don’t have to understand either of them.

My Dad used to have corny lines that drove us nuts…
    and one was to say,
when you were searching frantically for something….

“Don’t worry… It’ll always turn up in the last place you look.”

MIssScarlet…. if you stop by today….
Meant to thank you, belatedly, for the defense and the kind words the other day…

I saw it all too late to say anything then, and I didn’t get to the comics yesterday at all….
    but thanks.

That fellow loves to be negative,
and when he doesn’t read or understand what was actually said
he just spouts unrelated nonsense like that.

I actually say the same thing. I have made it my life’s work to drive my children crazy. Seems only fair.

Looking out the windows here in Northern Illinois…. all you see is snow…. about 12 inches…. from a couple days ago….
While the PENNYs in central Illinois have an aray of green plants showing in the window…
So Rod Serling on the TV screen seem appropriate….. ! ! !

I found it! It’s a trick find-it. The real find-it moon is in the coupon box.

Everything is in the last place you look.. Well most of the time. There are some things I haven’t found yet like the chord to my new camera… Where did I put it??

What that ‘negative fellow’ doesn’t seem to grasp is that (a) he’s missing out on a lot of fun by NOT looking at the fine details that Julie puts into her strips and (b) that most of us ‘regulars’ here love to dissect the minutia within each panel. I’m sorry I didn’t see his commentary (which amounts to nothing more than literary flatulence) else I would have jumped to your defence as well. Thank you, Miss Scarlet, for being on the ball and defending our beloved Susan Sunshine! Oh, and while I think about it, it seems Mr Negativity has somewhere else to be, he’s got places to go, does he? Well, my suggestion to him, then, is why not skip reading comics altogether, since it seems in his opinion to be such a monumental waste of his precious time. He should just go wherever it is that seems so important for him to be, if he’s in such a pig-awful hurry. Go. Be elsewhere. If that is what is so important, don’t let the virtual door hit you in your cyber-bum. And let those of us who enjoy our discussions to discuss in peace.

Burl, you need to pay attention. It appears you have no idea where you are. I could tell you where your head is but it wouldn’t be nice.

Thank you as well, your comment sums it up. The rest of us are having so much fun living and commenting in the virtual world of the Penny’s that it is astounding that anyone would find fault wth that! I sat next to a woman t he other day who had a mouth in the shape of a perfect upside down u. I smiled at her (to see what would happen) and she frowned at me! Its so easy to be pleasant and so hard to remain negative!
