    Hey, Burl, are you sure yours isn’t a pre-paid one? Seems more likely. And Dale, do you really want to know where your credit apps have gone? Check the circular file.

    Good news from Houston. Myeloma doc and diabetes doc like the numbers. Derma found nothing of interest. (The only time I can get a young woman to look over this old body, and she finds it unremarkable. Sigh.) Now if I could just get that pesky Grand Jury to see sweet reason….

    Might as well ruin the kids future credit line.
    Why not put the phone, gas and electric in his name too
    If you’re going to screw him, screw him good.

    Yeah but you’re probaby only deserving of a $50 credit line, Burl.

    Mikie, good to hear you’re OK.
    At least Timmy will get a 3 piece suit out of it. I made velvet suits for my boys one Easter, but children grow up so fast- not to elephantine proportions we hope (Babar). I would think they no longer offered cards to children. When my daughter was in HS, I was trying to destroy all the offers before she saw them. I actually received 2 card offers for Cuddles Cockatoo (probably because I donated to a charity once in her name).

    @Dave Hussell

    Doing great David, thanks for asking.
    Marg went to bed early last night. (cough,choke)
    Actually, on a serious note, She is a very active gal and this foot thing is hampering her style. Marg is always on the go and this is a hard adjustment for her to make. Thank God it’s only temporary.

    Thanks, dazz. Any day without cancer is a good day. MDAnderson Cancer Center, where I go, is considered one of the best cancer hospitals in the world. It is full of wonderful, caring and cheerful doctors, nurses and aides; it is a place of hope. It is NOT a place where you can feel sorry for yourself for very long. Last Thursday I was feeling a little “down” about being there. Then I ran across a beautiful 15-year old girl, with a radiant smile on her face, but no right leg. Just down the corridor was a 12-year old boy (Timmy?) with all the devilment in his eyes that boys his age are supposed to have. But bald, IV’d and in a wheelchair. It’s very hard to feel sorry for yourself when you see such innocent children still smiling while suffering so much. Talk about a reality check!

    Ditto. Barbar’s CruiseWear. Very funny.

    And all the best wishes to our ailing, and recovering, Crustwoodians.
