Plumbers do it in circles? Can someone help a feeble-minded old man with the interpretation?

It looks like Burl and his family fit right in with the rest of the neighborhood, intelligence-wise. This looks like my neighborhood in Central Florida just before a Shuttle launch. Before a hurricane, it’s a bit more purposeful.

Plumbers do it in circles and then they go down the drain – is the best sense I can make of it.

Is the whole neighborhood as clueless as The Dinette Set?

If they followed instructions when they were in public school like they follow them in this comic, not a one of them would have been graduated from high school.

Why watch the Weather Channel and/or the local TV meteorologists when you are not going to do what they tell you to do in the 1st place?

They’re still upset they ignored the Weather Channel’s warnings about Hurricane Katrina and didn’t book their vacation in New Orleans back in 2005
