What was the original date on this?

    Ratified 1992, Proposed 1789. Yes, 223 years.

Basically, it boils down to this. All your dollars become tax dollars, sooner or later. Then, they disappear.

I liked the NEA when it sent orchestras and ballet companies to little sinkholes (like where I live) around the country. I’m not much for individual grants to artists.
The meat dress, by the way, was Lady GaGa, and I’m pretty sure she paid for it herself.

Most of them count on being re-elected. Which is usually the case. Too bad we don’t have term limits for congress (both houses).

According to Sen. Charles Schumer (D) we need to get used to the idea that the money we earn doesn’t belong to us. Think about that the next time you vote.

We are over paying and not getting a civilized society. Can we get a refund?

Other than the military, cannot think of a Federal program I think worthy. Every year FDA kills more people (through inaction) than does the US Marine Corps in its engagements – should send the FDA to Iraq.

Why can’t our tax dollars be spent on art that we can actually enjoy?
