    People spread fertilizer on their gardens. People eat the vegetables that eat the fertilizer. There’s a wasted step here.

    Lack of refined thinking results in false conclusions.

    Except that, as I said before, many types of worms are perfectly edible, and apparently tasty when correctly prepared (haven’t tried them myself).
     
    It’s our culturally-ingrained inhibitions that make us abhor such foods. And yet we eat lobsters, which are nothing more than the giant cockroach of the sea. (I personally love lobster!)

    Take it one step further. By Dogbert’s logic we should just drink water, use some minerals in the dirt, and photosynthesis.
