    Typical bank solution. I was a bit worried when Underpaid Employee so readily admitted that Dilbert was alive, but he restored my faith in the banking system with his solution.

    “How do I know it’s really you who are alive and not someone else pretending to be the alive you when you really are dead?”

    When my father passed, the BIG CC co mistakenly listed my mom as passed. When I called to help her straighten it out that was the very comment made! No joke!

    Why don’t you (and others) stop using the big banks? Credit unions are the way to go.

    @T M

    My mother once got a job at a department store and had to apply for a store credit card as part of her job. She got approved, but only for $200. A check with the credit bureau and she was told her cap was low because she was dead.
