Would it be pedantic to point out that the dinosaurs died out long before the Ice Age?

Dinosaurs just evolved. Their descendants are still with us. Crocodilians are from the era and birds are definitely descended from dinosaurs. Wouldn’t it be interesting to find out what species of dinosaur evolved into what present day species.
