If Dilbert’s personality drives a plant to suicide, why does he even try to get a girlfriend?

I work at a police department, and one of our investigators tried to keep a fish at work. He had two of them commit suicide before giving up. One jumped down the drain as he changed his water and another jumped out onto the desk overnight. Police departments aren’t conducive to good mental health, evidently, even for fish!

This is a tremendous discovery, plants can hear, think, reason and write in the English language!
