    Another reason to avoid therapists – they give you a neurosis to go on top of whatever reason you saw them for in the first place. Ick.

    Therapists always want to pigeonhole you. If you don’t fit one of the syndromes in their books, they’ll force you into it anyway.

    That is not my experience. He had it and didn’t know, it didn’t just spring up because she said so. Or are people under such openness to out side influences that just saying something makes it true to them? I find your reasoning to be specious.
