I’m guessing the seller of the movie was dying to find a buyer.
BTW, London After Midnight is an actual film.

When’s the Moon People gonna show up again? And do you think Mysta Chimera will eventually grow real Lunarian horns and gain real Lunarian powers eventually?

Apparently, Lon Chaney (The man of 1000 faces) is Abner’s hero… and costume inspiration!

TCM runs a patch work version made out of stills once an awhile. “London after Midnight” is perhaps the holy grail of lost films. The closest you can come to seeing it is to watch “Mark of the Vampire” (1935) which was a remake by the same director Tod Browning, starring Bela Lugosi.

    From wikipedia.org/wiki/London_After_Midnight_%28film%29):

The last known copy was destroyed in the 1967 MGM Vault fire. In 2002, Turner Classic Movies aired a reconstructed version using the original script and film stills.
