    Somewhat off-topic:

Check out the Li’l Abner strip reprints beginning September 15, 2013. It’s a story featuring Chester Gould (parodied as “Lester Gooch”) from 1948.

Don’t bother with the Lil Abner strip, They have been repeating the SAME 3 or 4 clips over & over for the last Several Years… Nothing new there.

Transformer blows in lightning storm! (Tell me about it; we had a big one here in Chicagoland yesterday.) Now the confusion inside is likely to drive everyone outside, to join in the grand shootout over the weekend….

“And then, in the darkness, a shot rang out!”
They sure are stretching the climax out…but in a good way!

Nice picture of the pole transformers exploding. Fortunately
in 1979 PCB filled transformers were banned. No longer could be used as dielectric fluid.
