    Good morning all…

What convinced Honeymoon that MM/Mysta wasn’t her mom?

Good morning, VistaBill. I’m a little confused about that, too. I remember when Honeymoon was crying in the Space Coupe and thinking to herself that her mother was still alive and how she was going to prove it. I guess she’s changed her mind?

Great detective work, Honeymoon! I’m very interested to know what the DNA test says.

Who was it here who called it, way back when Honey was brushing Mysta’s hair? I know somebody here suggested it might be a ploy to collect DNA samples.

This story arc just gets better and better, in my opinion.

Yes! And one big reason it is getting better is because every day the story is advancing. I was worried that with a long story the pacing might get bogged down as it sometimes did with Gould. But instead the opposite has happened. Great work by Mike Curtis and Joe Staton. I love this story.

I checked. The person who first mentioned DNA sampling was DoctorWho55 on June 3. Good call!

That MM is as fake as Lady Gaga… My guess is, the second they met Honeymoon could tell that wasn’t how her Mom would have acted, seeing her after so long;MM was a child of the 60s and given to a lot of touchy-feely.

The DNA idea was the result of reading “too many” detective stories when I was younger, starting with Dick Tracy! :>)

As I see it we have two options outside of her being the real deal or a clone: another moon person surgically altered to look like Moon Maid or a normal earth person altered to look like Moon Maid with her horns being part of some devices that mimic moon maid’s powers.

The scarring of Mysta’s horns is an interesting development, as is Honeymoon’s assessment that the horns are real. It doesn’t “prove” anything but has me wondering again if Mysta somehow survived the blast? I had given up on that idea, but now I don’t know. It doesn’t make any sense to me that a clone would have scarred horns and injuries to her face, and besides this Dr. Sail has been exposed as a fake. Yet I also can’t believe that Mysta is not a moon woman, and Honeymoon seems to have confirmed that she is. If she’s another moon woman surgically altered to resemble Mysta, why are her horns scarred? (I don’t think the scarring is irrelevant to her identity — how they got scarred will come into play here at some point.) But how can she be the real Mysta? My mind bounces around a lot on these questions, and that’s why I’m so addicted to the story.
