Artist Joe Staton and writer Mike Curtis co-author "Dick Tracy," the classic comic strip distributed by Tribune Media Services.
Created by Chester Gould in 1931, "Dick Tracy" is one of America's most-enduring pop-cultural icons, noteworthy for its steadfast, chisel-jawed hero and the gruesome gallery of villains he and his fearless team of Crimestoppers must outwit to put behind bars.
When longtime "Dick Tracy" artist and writer Dick Locher retired from the strip after 32 years of meritorious service, fans Staton and Curtis jumped at the chance to don the yellow fedora and trench coat. Staton has been drawing comic books for many years and has more than 1,000 credits under his belt. Curtis, who has been writing comics since 1986, is the only former law-enforcement officer to work on "Dick Tracy." Both creators are excited about the new--and dangerous--adventures they have in store for Dick Tracy and his Crimestoppers.

Most likely. I’m glad Paul is sane anyway. Stephanie may survive this yet.

Wow! I just realized…my first # 1! I know this is not gonna happen, but I like the idea of Belle, Broadway, Cinnamon, and Pirahna all meeting up, Belle and Knight eyeing each other…..and then suddenly knowingly, sharing the same thought. Then Belle turns and shoots Broadway, hands the gun to Cinnamon who does the same to Pirahna, and the new twosome then go off to rob a jewelry store or bank together, lol.

Wow, apparently you’re more of an Otaku than I am! Now I know that your “Bishojo no Megane” avatar actually has something behind it ;)
My meganekko avatar is from an anime entitled Bakuman. It is about a couple of high school students who team up to make a manga, one is the writer the other the artist, sound familiar? Anyway they get accepted and get serialized with Shonen Jump. Now that they have “hit it big” they need assistants, one of those is an inker by the name of Natsumi Kato, the girl in my avatar.
My wife, Shelley is the inker & letterer for Dick Tracy. She has long black hair and wears glasses. Story over.

I’ve never been to Chicago… actually, other than a few trips to Buffalo NY (35 mins from me); I’ve never left Canada, in my entire life… but, if I do get over that way, I’ll be sure to drop in ;)

To whom could Sam be referring? If it is indeed Cinnamon Knight, then there just might be some hope for Black Piranha.
And, yes, VistaBill, I agree: that is a spectacular kitchen the Tracy’s have!

The Tracy home was originally designed in a Frank Lloyd Wright style, by Gould’s daughter , when she was taking drafting in college; the house was a veritable mansion, and it literally had DT fans up in arms, Gould received hundreds of letters questioning HOW a Police detective could afford such a house on his pay, if he wasn’t taking “graft” money from the criminal element.
Eventually, Gould had Tracy explain that he’d made certain (Unexplained) investments, while he was single, and they came through for him, so he bought the house during the depression, when prices were low

Love seeing Tracy making a big old pot of chili. Shows he’s human. Looks like it’s going to have to wait, though. And yeah, I wish I had a kitchen like that. He and Tess must be makin’ the big bucks.
