    Whoa, were they tied together?

I did not know that T. R. founded the FBI.

How well I remember seeing the Mumbles Quartet back in ’49. After that show all of us hepcats wore purple bowties exclusively.

Wow, Dot View! Another tie to the original Mr. Crime arc. Good to see her again. I love how Joe updated her look.

Hard, tedious footwork. Will The Tracy Agency catch a break?

This is fantastic stuff. I can just hear the three musical notes following, “he may not have been able to.” DUM DUm dummmmmm. (Kids today have probably never listened to one entire radio show in their lives. So sad. An imagination is a terrible thing to waste.)

    From the FBI site:
    When was the FBI founded?

On July 26, 1908, Attorney General Charles J. Bonaparte appointed an unnamed force of special agents to be the investigative force of the Department of Justice. The FBI evolved from this small group. See our History website for more information.

I lived in ND for more than 30 years until last year. One time T.R. single-handedly captured thieves who had stolen a boat (I believe it was three of them) and marched them about 60 miles to the nearest town where they could be locked up. Between that and his service in the Spanish-American War he wasn’t just talk—he walked the walk.
