    The giant piggy bank on wheels that we saw on Wednesday has shrunk into a small cylindrical cannon. Things change like that when you’re dreaming or brain-damaged…. It looks too small even for a midget – but I predict it will grow! On October 4th Tracy will climb into it and be shot to the moon!

    No wait … I forgot the pacing … Tracy can’t climb into it and be shot to the moon on the same day. He will climb into it on October 4th and be shot out of it sometime next year … can’t see just when exactly … crystal ball going cloudy….

    I can hardly wait for tomorrow’s strip. Sunday’s are the best. The Sunday strip always jogs my memory of all the many plot twists and turns that have occurred during the week. And the beautiful artwork that we see during the week will be in color as well.

    October 4th huh?

    Well we KNOW women, and it wasn’t by chance that the “B” in her name stood for “Blabber-mouth”, an investigative technique she’ll use ON Tracy, as she enters the Circus tent 2 weeks from now. To finally tell him AND us readers what “happemed”

    It’s been a long FIVE weeks standing in a Circus ring, legs weary, only to find that all the “clues” gattherd don’t add up to squat, and he folds his hands in contempt thinking it’s better to go back to being a “Hunch” detective.

    And readers wait with baited breath for October 4 when Mattie will tell us that Locher finally “woke up” after falling asleep of boredom at his own story-line, It will now move forward, thanks to a Mattie shake of his shoulder

    For that good deed you’re welcome back Mattie, all is forgiven. BUT, you must be more circumspect and respectful of others opinions. No more “Magpies” OR we will “retire” you again

    Carlo, I hate to break your bubble, but I doubt if Mattie knows anything. It’s an old axiom, but usually the more someone mouths about how much they know, it turns out the less that they really knows. You have to be really important to catch his attention. Smart people don’t have to tell you they are smart. It shows.
