Chester Gould, a veteran cartoonist, began drawing his most legendary character, the dashing and daring Dick Tracy for the newspaper comics page in 1931. Modeled in the image of the innovative Sherlock Holmes, Gould was inspired to create new crime-fighting technology, including the two-way wrist TV, closed circuit TV police line-up and the engineless car that took Dick Tracy to the moon (both literally and figuratively).
Although many remember him with fond nostalgia, Dick Tracy, now written and illustrated by Dick Locher, continues to be relevant as he combines old-fashioned values with 21st century innovation to capture corporate crooks, computer pirates, polluters, skyjackers, gang members and terrorists.

Where are her bracelets in the first panel?
Lousy hands today.

Mouse, prepare thyself to meet LiamC. Hardly the place; however, we’ve had our share of weirdos, though.

Is that a convertible she’s driving? Is she going to be strangled by her scarf a la Isadora Duncan? Can’t wait for Sunday’s recap.

Is there a thread of connectivity here (perhaps a dash of LOCHER repressed memory)??
AUGUST 23, 2004. (ON FUEL FROM PIG FARM – SOYA-BEANS)
Pig E. Bank: “Got to find a way to get that Pig smell out of the fuel addative”.
“Maybe, if I add a lot of PERFUME”.
Ludwig the bracelets are missing in TWO panels. Sort of reminds me of the style of having the Wrist Geenee in “use” and in the next panel, “SHAZAM” it has dissapeares.
GENIOUS ? Now I understand! Not only is this man a “challenged” Artist, he’s also a “forgetful” magician on the side when no one buys the art or his “sculpture” of Dick Tracy originally intended for the Woodstock Town Square
GROK, Who is “Roy the Mouse”? Is he Papa Rattner’s son and Mousey’s younger brother? Seems he is trying to slice off some “cheese” on the side here(?)
Is he “underground” Las Vegas? We’ll watch for the trap!

A bitter young man named Mouse
Baited our board with perfumed Souse
Some sniffed at the bait.
But sad to relate
It “exploded” like Dr. Noll’s House

Sydney, I wasn’t sure if that was a cuff on the sleeve in the second panel or a bracelet.

Well, at least we finally understand why she shot Ethan Noll. Shooting him while thinking that she had the formula would at least get her out of having to pay him royalties.
At last, the first thing in this whole arc that makes even a modicum of sense. (Still though, not enough to save this sorry story-line.)

Chubsy says: “Looks like Angeldustious had her legs amputated just below the knees in panel one”
Just goes to show what a “genious” our Artist really is. All the time I thought her legs were knee deep in water. And that was why Locher had her arms “wide out” earlier on in the story, getting in some swiming practise,
Woe is me …Just shows I’m dumber and more flat chested than the yellow rubber duckie is on Sunday. ;)

Is that a picture of LiamC, beard, mustache and pipe at the top of the page thanking us for our comments every time?
I thought smoking was banned in Dick Tracy. ;)That’s why we hardly ever see Sam anymore. He’s always outside taking a “puff”

wow; checked in to read comix/comments and video poker broke out, welcome Mr. Helmuth. Meanwhile back at the strip, this Driller dude is one exciting villain. Do you think his ear might hurt after 2 weeks on the phone?

Hey! I am beginning to think like you guys. In the 1st two panels Angelorious doesn’t have a bracelet on her right arm, in the 3rd she does. What formula does the think she has? Perfume when she wanted ethanol?

^ No it does not.
